The Glasdon NEXUS 200 Recycling Bin is a contemporary twin-stream recycling unit with a number of unique design features.
NEXUS 200 Recycling Bin has a slim, elliptical shape that takes up minimal space and allows the recycling apertures and graphics to be seen from all sides. The bin features a curved hood that adds strength to the container while preventing litter or rainwater gathering on the top.
NEXUS 200 Recycling Bin has two large 100 litre capacity liners reduce the need for frequent emptying. The recycling aperture panels feature innovative overhanging shelves that ensure all deposited waste falls directly into the liners.
NEXUS 200 Recycling Bin is supplied with clear signage and aperture panels in colours chosen to comply fully with the WRAP RecycleNow standards. Recessed graphics on the bin’s hood ensure that its purpose is easily identified from all angles. Large A3-sized poster frame kits on all sides of the bin are fully interchangeable and can be used for clear Defra-standard iconography, campaign messages, or sponsorship opportunities.
NEXUS 200’s double-skinned doors feature recessed lifting handles designed to allow opening by operators even when wearing protective gloves. The bin’s body has a ribbed anti fly posting finish that discourages adhesion while remaining smooth enough to be easily cleaned.
NEXUS 200 Recycling Bin features a secure 3-point interlocking system for its double doors. Opening the bin requires a single key operation to allow access to both liners, with a rise-to-open mechanism as found on the popular GLASDON JUBILEE Litter and Recycling Bins. The doors feature concealed hinges for increased security and improved aesthetics.
The NEXUS External Recycling Bins feature a brand new fire suppression system. Glasdon FIRESAFE™ is an automatic fire suppression device fitted within the hood of the bin. Should a fire break out inside the bin, the device is activated. (A regular inspection/maintenance programme should be introduced to ensure the device is in working condition or has discharged and therefore needs replacing.)
NEXUS 200 Recycling Bin is available in a choice of Anthracite Grey or Black (contains recycled material) and is manufactured from DURAPOL® Material, a polymer specially formulated to withstand extremes of temperature and impact tested in our Quality Assurance Laboratory as part of our BS EN ISO 9001:2000 test procedure. DURAPOL Material will not chip or rust, is easy to clean and never needs painting.
